The three posters hanging in the shop — one line of text per line typed here (up to 4 lines each). Great for a slogan, a house rule, an event, or just vibes.
Hang a YouTube video, playlist, or live stream on the wall under your store sign — so shoppers can hear what a record sounds like, or catch you spinning live.
The video never autoplays — shoppers press play themselves, so nobody gets startled walking in. This just sets whether it starts muted once they do.
How much to add at checkout. International orders usually cost more to post — zones let you charge by destination.
Codes shoppers can enter in their crate at checkout. Handy for social posts, regulars, or a record fair flyer.
Visitors can still walk around and browse, but checkout is switched off (server-side too) until you flip this back. Independent of your subscription.
Rename the auto-generated crate placards without changing how records sort. One per line, as match = label — the match is a genre name (with genre organization on) or the format section name. e.g.
Jazz = Blue Note Classics
Cassettes = The Tape Wall
Which format a shopper reaches first walking in.
Recently added records get pulled out of their normal section into their own crate up front, so regulars can see what's new without digging.
On: each crate holds one genre, records alphabetical by artist inside it (set a record's Genre in Inventory). Off: one alphabetical run by artist across all crates. Records without a genre land in an "Unsorted" crate at the end.
When enabled, your store appears on the Cratefront homepage under "Shop" so anyone browsing can discover and enter it. When disabled, your store is still accessible via its direct link — it just won't be listed publicly.
Payments go straight to your PayPal — Cratefront never holds your money. The client ID and secret (both from the same app at developer.paypal.com) let Cratefront confirm each payment on its server before releasing your records, so no one can fake a sale by tampering with the checkout. With only a client ID, or neither, your store runs a demo register — orders are recorded but no money moves. Your secret is stored for your store only and never sent to shoppers.
You'll always get the sale email either way.
Upgrades and downgrades on a PayPal plan open a PayPal approval step (it's your billing agreement, so PayPal asks you to confirm); the new price applies from your next billing cycle. To cancel entirely, manage the subscription inside your PayPal account (Settings → Payments → Automatic payments) — cancelling pauses your store at the end of the paid period.
Applies to unsold records only. Sold records keep the price they sold at.

A line or two in your own voice about why this one's worth hearing. Shoppers see it in the record's detail panel, set apart from the condition notes.
